Grats to the two new winners Jolan, your entry is amazing. honestly think that's my favorite. shoulda got more than honorable mention imo. the new painting is impressive as well. i am a bit disappointed that the tattoo was left up.. since everyone knows why it should not be so there's no need for me to say anymore on that subject. but hey whatever, guess they don't care. i'm happy that an entry like Jolan's won. if that was cake or something edible, i wish i could have a bite of it lol

Gz to new winners. I enjoyed looking at the new painting, was well rendered lol. Very halloween-y both of the honorable mentions, probably more so than my entry.
Oh and about the MKG mini. I, for one, do not care for it at all. I'm most likely going to sell it (or give it away to my IRL friend who collects Minis if I feel like I'm getting ripped off) as soon as I get bored of it. I'm happy it's not customized because I frankly don't like the skin. If I can get a good price for it from someone that might care about having a RARE MINI, I'll take the $$$$s.
I don't really buy much in game, so you'll probably just see it around gurus again in the form of contests and stuff. It's my prize, I'll do what I want with it tyvm.
Also I wouldn't spend too much time QQing over the winners, because everyone has a different sense of what a "winner" is, especially with something so subjective like an art contest. There are definitely some decisions I wouldn't agree with at all as well, but even if I didn't get a place, I don't believe I'll spout too much rage over it. I think we should just be happy at the winners instead of crying over contests yet again. I guess, however, my opinion wont hold much weight because of the HM spot though.

The look is the only reason why I'd buy the mini... I like it a lot. I collect minis I can afford.
But, since I don't have nearly enough money to be competing for one (not even if I sold everything I have lol), I guess I'll just have to let it go
Gratz to the winners

Thanks so much Blue. May I ask which entry was yours? I really liked your Alchemy sketch on this forum and I'd like to see more of your art.

and there is also a closed commission thread that had more too - clicky (there's more art throughout the thread than is just on the first page).

Yeah, I also go by Excess. The idea behind that entry was supposed to be a link between GW1 and 2, where Zhaitan or w/e his name was invades Lion's Arch on Halloween Night, and the Mad King swoops in with his bone dragon to save the day. I dunno if I actually got that across really XD
Most of my stuff is scattered around the forums, but you can usually find it on my imageshack here http://profile.imageshack.us/user/xzhsh

Thanks Little S for the link
Excess, that was a wonderful entry! I love the warm/cold lightsource contrasting you have going on there. It adds a lot of depth too. I really like your loose style. I feel mine is a bit too rigid and stiff sometimes.
I was looking at some of your Imageshack work. I like the sketches on the same page as your summation problems *laugh*. You must be getting bored in class!

Does anyone know how I can get the wiki updated to show the 2 new honorable mentions? Is anyone her part of that wiki community? Thank you.
